CNN anchor Anderson Cooper is renting out his 1946 English country-style house in Quiogue for the summer.
Tenants will have plenty of names to drop over cocktails. Cooper purchased the property in 2011 and had it completely renovated with the help of his mother, fashion icon Gloria Vanderbilt. Then, there is the home’s former owner, the late screenwriter Budd Schulberg, who won an Academy Award for his screenplay of the 1954 film “On the Waterfront.”
The rent is $125,000 from Memorial Day to Labor Day or $25,000 for June, $50,000 for July and $65,000 for August.
The Enzo Morabito Team at Douglas Elliman Real Estate is listing the property.
Situated on Aspatuck Creek, the one-story main house has four bedrooms and 3.5 baths. The master suite has a vaulted, beamed ceiling and skylights.
Other features include two fireplaces, a great room with a vaulted, beamed ceiling, peg wood floors, French doors and water views, a den with a 60-inch television, dining area and updated kitchen.
There is also a separate, one-bedroom apartment with a full bath over the garage.
The 2.4-acre property offers a patio, featuring a 20-by-40-foot heated pool, Jacuzzi and pool house with living area and full bath.
