A Bridgehampton home recently listed for $4.595 million will be featured in the first Coastal Living Showhouse in the Hamptons this summer.
The house will be decorated by Locust Valley interior designer Meg Braff, who will add the finishes and furniture to the 6,800-square-foot home.
The house was designed by East End architect Fred Throo and is being constructed by Hamptons builders Touch of Grey.
The show house will open June 10 and run through Sept. 5.
“People looking for a property in the Hamptons will be able to experience a very different kind of statement house,” says Scott Strough, who is co-listing the property with Christian Lipp, both of Compass.
The home will have six bedrooms, seven bathrooms and two half-bathrooms, along with three fireplaces, a game room and a movie theater. Also on the 1.28-acre property will be a gunite pool, pool house and tennis court.
Braff has been working with the builder on selecting cabinetry and hardware, and says she plans to add a lot of color with custom wallpaper from her own collection. Being the sole designer for the show house gives the overall design more consistency, she says.
“It feels very much like a house you would live in,” Braff says.
