The Goose Creek estate in Wainscott, which includes what the listing agency says is the Hamptons’ largest private movie theater, has hit the market for $15.995 million.

The 19,000-square-foot home — which the listing agency says was previously used as a summer rental by big stars — includes a 110-seat movie theater that was once rented by two celebrities for their daughter’s birthday party, the agency says.

“It’s a legendary old house,” says listing agent Michael Schultz of The Corcoran Group. “It was the scene of lots of private movie premieres.”

That includes, according to the agency, the premiere of the Jake Gyllenhaal movie “End of Watch,” which was attended by Jerry Seinfeld and Gwyneth Paltrow.

The theater is in the basement of the house along with a bar area and an indoor pool and spa. The house, which has eight bedrooms and 11 1⁄2 bathrooms, is on 5.5 acres along Georgica Pond. The property features an outdoor pool and a tennis court.

“You rarely find houses this large in the Hamptons south of the highway,” Schultz says.

The estate last sold in 2014 for $10.55 million, according to property records. The price for a summer rental had been $500,000, according to the agency.
