Scott Disick’s parents’ Baiting Hollow home sells for $520,000
A Baiting Hollow home made up of two geodesic domes, last owned by the parents of reality TV star Scott Disick, recently sold for $520,000, according to LI Profiles, a real estate information firm.
The three-bedroom, three-bathroom home came on the market in early 2015 for $799,000. The price was eventually reduced to $545,000.
Local builder Kenneth Powell built the first dome in 1982. It was constructed with 2-by-6-inch boards nailed into triangular frames and fitted together. Powell later built a second dome on the one-acre property using a kit. The semi-spherical design was popularized by U.S. inventor Buckminster Fuller in the 1950s.
Public records show that Disick’s mother, Bonnie Disick, purchased the home in 2001 for $350,000. Bonnie Disick died in October 2013 and her husband, real estate developer Jeffrey Disick, died a few months later.
Scott Disick was propelled to notoriety after fathering three children with reality TV star Kourtney Kardashian.
Listing agent Maryann Iacono of Daniel Sotheby’s International Realty declined to comment on the sale.
