Stella McCartney buys a house in Napeague, near her father, Paul
Fashion designer Stella McCartney has purchased a waterfront cottage in Napeague, not far from the Hamptons home her father, former Beatle Paul McCartney, owns, according to LI Profiles, the Nesconset-based real estate information provider.
McCartney paid $1.7 million for the 0.73-acre property on Gardiners Bay, according to public records released this week. The 1,350-square-foot house has three bedrooms and two bathrooms, says the listing with Douglas Elliman Real Estate.
Napeague is a hamlet within the Town of East Hampton. About 170 people live there, according to the Census.
Paul McCartney has a home in nearby Amagansett.
