Adele pregnant, the singer announces on her blog

Grammy-winning singer Adele made a short but substantial announcement on her blog Friday: She's pregnant.
The British singer, 24, writes: "I'm delighted to announce that Simon and I are expecting our first child together. I wanted you to hear the news direct from me, obviously we’re over the moon and very excited but please respect our privacy at this precious time. Yours always, Adele xx."
How else to follow her Grammy Awards sweep of six trophies in February? Her CD, "21," took Album of the Year and single "Rolling in the Deep" won Record of the Year and Song of the Year.
About that father: Simon is boyfriend Simon Konecki, a fellow Brit she reportedly met a year ago.
