Former child star Amanda Bynes has left a Malibu inpatient rehabilitation facility and is staying with her parents, according to People.

Bynes' mother's attorney, Tamar Arminak, said in a statement to the magazine that the 27-year-old is "feeling better every day" after psychiatric treatment. The actress had been placed under an involuntary 5150 hold at UCLA Medical Center in July after she started a small fire in a woman's driveway. She was transferred to rehab in September, around the same time a judge granted Bynes' mother, Lynn, temporary conservatorship over her daughter.

"She's now looking at various colleges with the intention of majoring in fashion design," the statement says. "She's mentioned before she's interested in creating a clothing line."

Bynes' well-being and finances will remain under her mother's control indefinitely, according to Arminak. The lawyer's statement made clear Bynes is continuing treatment as an outpatient, and is very happy to reestablish the loving relationship with her family that she once shared."

What do you think Amanda Bynes' future holds? Will she fully recover, or is she a doomed child star?
