Andrew Silverman, Lauren Silverman's husband, asks for 'respect' amid Simon Cowell media frenzy

Reports that "X Factor" judge SImon Cowell is having a baby with the wife of close friend Andrew Silverman have caused a media stir outside the Bridgehampton home where Lauren Silverman is reportedly staying.
Andrew Silverman, a real estate developer, stepped onto the circular drive of the Colonial-style home to ask the dozen or so paparazzi on site to leave his family, which includes his 36-year-old wife and their son, alone.
"Please respect my family's privacy," Silverman said. "I have a 7-year-old son. ... This is a very difficult time. Please keep your distance."
Us Weekly reported Wednesday that Lauren Silverman is roughly 10 weeks along. The magazine said that she is planning to leave her husband to be with Cowell, 53.
The New York Daily News has identified the Hamptons home as Lauren Silverman's.
People.com has reported a statement from Lauren SIlverman, in which she says: "I am committed to sorting things out with Andrew as amicably as possible to ensure the well-being of our son. I would hope for some space and privacy in order to work through this."
