82°Good afternoon

The course of "True Blood" never did run smooth, but only fictionally - because two stars playing lovers on that show are now playing house in real life. Anna Paquin, who stars as psychic waitress Sookie Stackhouse in the HBO drama of everyday vampires in Louisiana, married Stephen Moyer, her fanged on-screen paramour Bill Compton, in a Malibu, Calif., wedding Saturday.

The Canada-born, New Zealand-raised Paquin, 28, whose work in 1994's "The Piano" made her the second-youngest Oscar-winner, married the British actor before guests, said Us Magazine, who included Elijah Wood, "True Blood" creator Alan Ball and cast-mates Ryan Kwanten, Sam Trammell, Rutina Wesley and Carrie Preston, plus Preston's husband, Michael Emerson (Benjamin Linus on "Lost").

The bleached-blonde bride wore a white halter-neck, ankle-length gown and black platform pumps, with her hair in an updo, per photos at RadarOnline.com and elsewhere. Moyer, 40, who wore a dark suit, presented her with a ring he helped design with jeweler Cathy Waterman, said Us: a rustic diamond in an antiqued platinum inset.

The couple exchanged vows at sunset - yep, twilight! - under a white tent at a beachside villa, according to People. "It was a beautiful evening to get married and the sunset was gorgeous," a source told the magazine. The reception was held not at the "True Blood" vampire bar Fangtasia, but at a private oceanfront house, said Us. At one point, as seen in photos at Radar and at TMZ.com, the groom and several other gents stripped down to swim trunks for a dip in the Pacific Ocean.

Paquin and Moyer made their relationship public in February 2009, and announced their engagement last August.

The two met while filming the pilot episode in 2007, and were dating by the following year.
