Miley Cyrus finds herself caught up in a brouhaha with parenting groups, which is like saying water is wet and a new year happens each year.

In the past, it was that her dress wasn't long enough at the MuchMusic Video Awards in Toronto (2010), her  pole dancing at the Teen Choice Awards (2009) and the Annie Leibovitz photo (2008). This time, it's her new video for the single "Who Owns My Heart?" Seems the Parents Television Council has called the 17-year-old's decision to sex it up "unfortunate."

I'm sorry, wasn't Britney Spears in pigtails and a schoolgirl outfit at age 16 suggest that her baby should hit her one more time.

Folks need to OD on some chill pills with Cyrus. The fact is if you landed on American shores from outer space and watched 10 videos without knowing who anyone was, this video would not stand out as being overtly sexual any more than any other video would.

But, because this is Miley Cyrus, and people still think she's a tween on "Hannah Montana," they go crazy. Everyone grows up. It's called life.

And when a young female celebrity wants to shatter that public image of her as a wholesome teen, this is the way they do it. Right or wrong, it's a common thing, so let's not pretend like we've never seen this before.

Jessica Biel posed without clothing (but did not expose anything) for a magazine shoot to change people's notions that she was just the girl from "7th Heaven."

Now, it's Miley's turn. Watch her "Who Owns My Heart?" video here.
