Bobbi Kristina Brown married: Whitney Houston's daughter tweets wedding rings with Nick Gordon

The only daughter of the late Whitney Houston has taken her much-criticized relationship to the next level.

Bobbi Kristina Brown, 20, tweeted Thursday that she is married to on-again, off-again fiancé Nick Gordon. "@nickdgordon! #HappilyMarried• SO#Inlove• if you didn't get it the first time that is.." Brown wrote alongside a photo of her hand atop his, displaying their wedding rings. She also added "wife of @ndgordon" to her Twitter bio (though the @nickdgordon handle appears to be his, considering the latter is a protected account with zero tweets).

The couple first became engaged in October 2012, months after Houston's death, but broke it off about a month later after Brown's family (and the public) criticized their relationship. Gordon began living with Houston and her daughter when he was 12, sparking rumors of incest when the duo began dating as young adults.

In July 2013, Brown shared news that their engagement was back on, writing on her Facebook page, "I'm tired of hearing people say, 'Eww, you're engaged to your brother' or 'If Whitney [were] still alive, would [you] be together' or 'Would she approve of this?' Let me clear up something, we aren't even real brother and sister nor is he my adoptive brother. My mom never adopted him. In fact, mommy was the one who even said that she knew that we were going to start dating. My mom knows me better than any of you."
