Cameron Diaz and Yankees third baseman Alex Rodriguez, an on-again/off-again couple since at least July 2010, have split up, Us magazine reports. After a breakup in October and a reconciliation in November, the two have ended their relationship over conflicting work schedules.

The magazine said Diaz, 39, was particularly busy with her film career: She's spent part of the summer in England shooting the Coen Brothers' remake of the 1966 film "Gambit," and has begun filming "What to Expect When You're Expecting" in Atlanta.

Yankees slugger A-Rod, 36, has suffered injuries recently and wants to concentrate on his game, Us said, adding that the two, who enjoyed beach getaways and working out, remain friendly.

Rodriguez dated actress Kate Hudson throughout 2009, and has two children with his ex-wife, Cynthia Scurtis, whom he married in 2002 and divorced in 2008. He also has been romantically linked with Las Vegas exotic dancer Joslyn Noel Morse and singer Madonna.

Diaz had been seen dining out with "Glee" star Matthew Morrison in October while she and Rodriguez were broken up.
