Actress Anna Faris says a tabloid's claim that she is worried her husband Chris Pratt will cheat on her still hurts despite not being true.
"It has been a little devastating," the "Mom" star told the Fox411 website. "For us it was like, 'What the heck.' This has been blindsiding to us. We have an incredible relationship. It has been weirdly stinging."
Faris, 38, was referring to rumors after the tabloid magazine Star said last month that she was concerned about a possible dalliance between "Guardians of the Galaxy" and "Jurassic World" star Pratt, 36, and Jennifer Lawrence, who turns 25 on Saturday, when they star opposite each other in the upcoming science-fiction drama "Passengers."
"[That] stung a little bit harder than I thought it would," Faris said. "I have always kind of believed that part of the rumors of celebrity couples were sort of true -- because they had never been a part of my life. I thought, 'Maybe there is a kernel of truth to that.' "
Faris, whose CBS sitcom begins Season 3 on Nov. 5, met Pratt when he played her boyfriend in the ensemble romantic comedy "Take Me Home Tonight," which was shot in 2007 but went unreleased until 2011. They became friends and eventually developed a romance. Pratt proposed in late 2008, and the two married in a small ceremony in Bali, Indonesia, on July 9, 2009. Their son, Jack, was born nine weeks premature in 2012, but survived and turns 3 on Aug. 25.
This is Pratt's first marriage. Faris previously was wed to actor Benjamin Indra, from whom she separated in March 2007 after nearly three years of marriage. Her divorce was finalized in February 2008. The two had no children.
