Ciara, Future split three months after birth of son, report says
Has R&B singer Ciara broken up with her fiancé, the producer and hip-hop artist Future, three months after the birth of their child?
Us Weekly Wednesday said that the "I'm Out" singer, 28, split with the "Move That Dope" rapper, 30, after he cheated on her.
Ciara, born Ciara Princess Harris, has not responded directly, but posted two cryptic tweets Tuesday night. In the first she writes, "Hayyy Boo:)," a common endearment, linked to an Instagram photo of herself in a glamour shot wearing a black-and-white oversize jersey shirt, white pants and black sneakers. Minutes later she tweeted, "2Day Was A Good Day," linked to a photo of herself in the same wardrobe, sitting on a couch.
A spokesman for Ciara and Future, born Nayvadius DeMun Wilburn, did not respond to a Newsday request for comment.
The couple's son, Future Zahir Wilburn, was born May 19. Future, who has three children from previous relationships, had proposed to Grammy Award-winner Ciara over the final weekend in October after a year of dating. No wedding date was announced.
Ciara appears on the cover of the August/September issue of Brides, wearing a long-sleeve embroidered Chantilly lace Reem Acra wedding gown. She told the magazine that she envisioned a long marriage, saying she knew "very early on" that Future would be her husband, explaining, "He came with something that I'd never felt before: the true presence of a man."
