Dakota Wyatt Lohan, Lindsay Lohan’s brother, signs contract with IMG Models
Has Lindsay Lohan’s younger brother become a professional model?
TMZ.com said Monday that Dakota Wyatt Lohan, formerly called Cody, has recently signed a contract with IMG Models, the global agency whose roster includes Kate Moss, Gisele Bündchen, Miranda Kerr, Gigi and Bella Hadid and many others. The site said his mother, Dina Lohan, of Merrick, is his manager.
IMG Models and Dina Lohan did not respond to Newsday requests for confirmation. TMZ did not cite a source.
Using the name Dakota Lohan, the now 19-year-old has modeled at least once previously, walking the runway for Child magazine at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week in fall 2007.
He is the youngest of four children of divorced parents Dina and Michael Lohan, who are among the participants in VH1’s “Family Therapy with Dr. Jenn,” premiering Wednesday at 9 p.m. Actress Lindsay Lohan, 29, is the eldest, followed by Michael C. Lohan, 28, who formerly went by Michael Lohan Jr.; Ali, 22; and Dakota.
In early February, Lindsay Lohan posted a sepia-tone Instagram image of Dakota in Manhattan’s Meatpacking District and wrote, “Yep! That’s my brother Cody Lohan Soon My mommy will bring him to IMG Models like she did with me at Ford Models . . . .” Dina Lohan on Feb. 7 tweeted a different, black-and-white photo of her son, writing, “IMG Management #so proud.”
Lindsay Lohan began as a child model, and as an adult has appeared as a celebrity model. Ali Lohan signed to NEXT Model Management in 2011, moving to Wilhelmina in 2013.
Michael C. Lohan made news in October when he was arrested for alleged criminal possession of a forged instrument. Police said he displayed a phony “Official Business” parking placard with the New York State seal on his car near his apartment building in the Gramercy neighborhood of Manhattan.
