Celebrities report losing homes in Southern California wildfires

As three massive wildfires continue to devastate California, the 130-square-mile Woolsey Fire in the Malibu area has destroyed the homes of numerous individuals in the entertainment industry. 

Among the most recent to report the loss of their houses are "Hunter Killer" star Gerard Butler, singer Robin Thicke and reality-TV star Camille Grammer.

"Welcome to my home in Malibu. . . . Half gone," Butler, who turns 49 on Tuesday, said in a video posted Sunday to his Instagram Stories account, giving views of the building's skeletal remains and the smoldering husk of a vehicle. On Instagram itself he wrote, "Returned to my house in Malibu after evacuating. Heartbreaking time across California. Inspired as ever by the courage, spirit and sacrifice of firefighters. Thank you @LosAngelesFireDepartment. If you can, support these brave men and women at SupportLAFD.org."

After Thicke's pregnant girlfriend, model April Love Geary, 23, wrote Saturday on her Instagram Stories account that, "Our house is gone," Thicke, 41, posted on Instagram that the couple, their 8-month old daughter Mia and his 8-year-old son Julian "would like to thank the courageous firefighters and volunteers. As we drove to safety, they risked their lives trying to save our home. We are safe and surrounded by friends and family. We Thank you for all the love and support we've received and we send our love and prayers to everyone affected by the fires. Count your blessings!"

Grammer, 50, from "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills," wrote on Instagram early Sunday, "Sadly my house couldn't be saved. The courageous firefighters were able to save my cars and personal items recovered from my home. . . . Sad we lost our home but grateful that my family is safe. Luckily we quickly evacuated our house yesterday after a patrol car drove up the street announcing mandatory evacuations. I'm grateful for my lovely neighbors and friends who kept me informed and for their help this evening," she said, thanking firefighters.

Actress Alyssa Milano, 45, who had been among the many evacuated, had tweeted on Saturday that she had learned, "My house is still standing. I'm on my way to bring firefighters water and food." But on Sunday she amended, "House is still in jeopardy. Still no power. Still dealing with flare-ups."

Others who earlier had reported losing their homes include Martin Sheen and "Dr. Strange" director Scott Derrickson. Actress Shannen Doherty said her late father's house, where she had been married, was destroyed. While former Olympian Caitlyn Jenner's home had been reported destroyed, it was unclear on Sunday if had been spared.

Additionally, parts of the Agoura Hills, California, mansion Villa De La Vina, used for the reality dating competitions "The Bachelor" and "The Bachelorette," were burned but salvageable, said "Entertainment Tonight.”
