Marston Hefner, 21, son of Playboy founder Hugh Hefner, was out on $20,000 bail after his arrest Sunday for allegedly assaulting his live-in girlfriend, October 2010 Playmate and 2011 Playmate of the Year Claire Sinclair, 20.
Lt. Rick Aversano of the Pasadena Police Department told the Los Angeles Times that officers went to the couple's home about 11 p.m. Sunday and determined Sinclair had suffered minor injuries consistent with an assault.
Hefner, one of Hugh Hefner's two children with 1989 Playmate of the Year Kimberley Conrad, was arrested on a charge of misdemeanor domestic violence. He was released on bail at about 2 a.m. No court date has been set.
Late Monday, Sinclair, whose real name is Clarissa Irene Riccio, obtained an emergency three-day restraining order against Hefner, TMZ.com reported.
Sinclair tweeted yesterday afternoon, "There's two types of pain in the world -- pain that hurts you, and pain that makes you stronger. All of your positivity is giving me strength."
While Marston Hefner has not yet commented on the incident, Hugh Hefner told People magazine, "If they care about each other, they'll patch it up."
