Venturing to the opposite side of his usual place, radio icon Howard Stern will sit for a rare, live interview with the hosts of the popular "SmartLess" podcast, actor-comedians Will Arnett, Jason Bateman and Sean Hayes. The interview, taking place Aug. 17 at Stephen Talkhouse in Amagansett, will become the first offering when "SmartLess" debuts next month on Sirius XM.

SiriusXM subscribers can enter for a chance to attend the interview, which will also include a concert by an as-yet-unnamed performer immediately afterward, at siriusxm.com/smartlesshamptons. The interview will premiere on SiriusXM on Sept. 9.

“It’s a Sirius honor for us three jesters to interview the King of All Media,” the three hosts said in a joint statement, referring to the self-bestowed sobriquet of the Roosevelt- and Rockville Centre-raised Stern.

The Radio Hall of Famer has not commented publicly. A joint post at the Instagram accounts for his show, for SiriusXM and for “SmartLess” on Thursday reads, “Two stages, one epic night. See @smartless interview guest Howard Stern LIVE in the Hamptons... with a surprise musical performance!”

SAY GOODBYE TO MSG The 104th and final show of Billy Joel’s Madison Square Garden residency on July 25 premiered on SiriusXM's Billy Joel Channel Wednesday, and will continue to air through Sunday. Afterward it will remain available on the SiriusXM app through Aug. 28.

The concert, Joel’s 150th overall at the venue, will air Friday at 9 a.m. and 6 p.m., Saturday at 9 p.m. and Sunday at 4 p.m.

The 2½-hour show, which opened with “Miami 2017 (I’ve Seen the Lights Go Out on Broadway)” and ran through both hits and deep cuts, featured Guns N' Roses frontman Axl Rose joining Joel on the Paul McCartney and Wings hit “Live and Let Die” and on AC/DC’s “Highway to Hell.” Hicksville-raised Rock & Roll Hall of Famer Joel  also welcomed “Tonight Show” host Jimmy Fallon as a guest.

The current run of the Billy Joel Channel concludes on Aug. 15.
