"America's Got Talent" judge Howie Mandel has confirmed he was attended to by hospital personnel after what reports said was a fainting spell in a Los Angeles Starbucks.

"I am home and doing better," the Canada-born comic, 65, wrote on Twitter Wednesday night. "I was dehydrated and had low blood sugar. I appreciate the great doctors and nurses that took such good care of me. Thank you to everyone who reached out but I am doing ok!"

Earlier Wednesday, TMZ.com had posted a photo of Mandel awake and surrounded by evident paramedics from the Los Angeles City Fire Dept. at an outdoor cafe. The website said he was with his wife and friends at the coffee bar in the upscale Woodland Hills neighborhood when he passed out and fell over. He subsequently was taken by ambulance to a hospital in the nearby Tarzana neighborhood.
