"King of Queens" star Leah Remini, who left the Church of Scientology last month, has filed a missing persons report with the Los Angeles Police Department concerning Shelly Miscavige, wife of the church's leader, David Miscavige, Us Weekly reports.

In a statement to Us late Thursday, the Church of Scientology said LAPD determined Remini's missing-person's claim was unfounded, and closed the case.

Also, TMZ reports law enforcement told the site the allegation is unfounded. It adds that cops had a face-to-face meeting with Shelly Miscavige.

Scientology officials have denied she is missing, but Shelly Miscavige reportedly has not been seen in public in six years. Remini reportedly was chided when she asked David Miscavige why his wife did not attend the 2006 wedding of Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes.
