Rapper Lil Wayne and singer and reality-TV star Christina Milian reportedly have broken up after dating for a little more than a year.
"Entertainment Tonight" reported that Grammy Award-winner Lil Wayne, who turns 33 on Sept. 27, and Milian, who turns 34 a day earlier, ended their relationship last month. They were first photographed together as a couple in July 2014 at the ESPY Awards, at the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles.
Three months earlier, she had told Los Angeles radio station KRRL-FM that she was in love, and shortly afterward revealed to "ET" that she was "so inspired by the relationship that I'm in that it's definitely an experience. It's that careless, hopeless, romantic love -- that feeling of 'I will do anything for you' and it's just incredible."
Milian had married R&B singer-songwriter-producer The-Dream, in September 2009, and they had daughter Violet Madison Nash on Feb. 26, 2010. The couple separated in July that same year, with their divorce finalized in October 2011.
Representatives for Milian and for Lil Wayne did not respond to Newsday requests for comment.
