Lindsay Lohan's interview gives OWN soft ratings bump
Oprah Winfrey's Lindsay Lohan interview drew just 892,000 viewers for the 9 p.m. "Oprah's Next Chapter" encounter, which was heavily promoted and itself part of a larger plan to promote a Lohan reality series to air on OWN in 2014, Newsday's Verne Gay reports. Variety pointed out the viewership exceeded that of some "Next Chapter" editions but not of other much-hyped interviews such as Lance Armstrong (3.1 million for the first night). Over two other airings Sunday, the Lohan interview had a total of 1.67 million viewers.
