Macaulay Culkin, Mila Kunis split after 8 years

Former child actor Macaulay Culkin and "Black Swan" actress Mila Kunis, who began dating in 2002, have split up after eight years together.

"Home Alone" star Culkin, 30, and former "That '70s Show" actress Kunis, 27, ended their relationship some months ago, a source told Us magazine, adding that with Kunis promoting her new movie the two kept the breakup as low-key as their relationship.

As even Entertainment Weekly wrote Monday: "Mila Kunis and Macaulay Culkin break up. Who knew they were together?"

The split was amicable, and the two remain friends, according to Kunis' representative.

The actress said in 2009 of her relationship with Culkin, "I don't remember being single. I love coming home, taking a bath and having a glass of wine. I love my life." But she also said they had no plans for marriage.

Culkin married actress Rachel Miner in 1998, but the couple separated in 2000 and divorced in 2002.
