Spice Girls singer and "America's Got Talent" judge Melanie "Mel B" Brown got a visit from three of her fellow girl-group members while hospitalized in London during the weekend.

"When your besties show up to hospital with hugs laughter and ALOT [sic] of love, ahhhh I love my spice girls yipppeee," Brown, 43, posted across her social media Monday morning from London. A silent, second-long video shows her in a hospital bed, her right hand, wrist and forearm heavily bandaged. At her bedside are Emma Bunton (Baby Spice), 42; Melanie Chisholm (Sporty Spice), 44; and Geri Halliwell (Ginger Spice), 46, all four of them clowning or making faces.

Five hours earlier, Brown (Scary Spice) had posted a photo of herself wearing a blue hooded warmup jacket, her right arm in a purple sling, with a caption explaining that she was being hospitalized.

"Thankyou [sic] to all the wonderful nurses dr's and my amazing surgeon," she wrote, "for the care and expertise given to me here at the hospital I've been staying at, suffering 2 broken ribs a severed right hand needing emergancy [sic] care, to having had to have over a 3 hr surgery to repair the damage hence the purple sling." Brown did not explain the circumstances of how she had been injured, although a hashtag read "#accidentshappen."

TMZ.com said that Brown had been staying at a friend's house Saturday and had gotten up in the middle of the night. The entertainment website said she fell when she tried to use a narrow set of stairs.

Her friend Gary Madatyan confirmed the accident to People. “She was upstairs and the room was dark,” Madatyan said. “Everyone knows one of her eyes does not see 100 percent.”

TMZ added that Brown's lawyer, Taline Boyamian, said neither drugs nor alcohol played a role in the accident.

Mel B added that she had to postpone a scheduled signing of her memoir "Brutally Honest" Monday at The Strand bookstore in Manhattan, but told ticketholders that she was "absolutely gutted but I can assure you it WILL happen at a later date, I promise, but for now My right arm/hand is all stitched up and I'm trying to keep still to heal my broken ribs, ohhh the pain, but I'm in super safe hands with the care of everyone here at the hospital!!!!! thank you all for understanding, I love you all.” The Strand said a makeup date would be announced Thursday.

The Spice Girls announced on Nov. 5 that the group, minus Victoria Beckham aka Posh Spice, 44, would play a six-date British tour in June.

The performer, who is currently in a custody fight with her ex-husband Stephen Belafonte, has publicly revealed a December 2014 suicide attempt that involved taking 200 aspirin pills while she was married to the movie producer. Brown entered rehab this August for post-traumatic stress disorder.

People magazine reports that the singer in September agreed to take random drug and alcohol tests as part of her custody case with Belafonte, to whom she was married from 2007 to 2017. Madatyan told the magazine that Brown has passed 14 or 15 tests already. “She was coming back the next day to do the drug test [before heading to the] book signing in New York,” he said.

Belafonte has not commented on his ex-wife's accident on social media.
