Sean Penn spotted at Minka Kelly's birthday dinner, report says

Less than two weeks since he and Charlize Theron reportedly called off their engagement, Sean Penn was spotted dining recently at French Laundry with Minka Kelly.

Not only did Penn, 54, pay for the fancy meal, which included truffle mac and cheese and a birthday cake (Kelly turned 35 last Wednesday), but Penn even serenaded Kelly with "Happy Birthday!" according to TMZ. The two reportedly met at a benefit the Oscar-winning actor threw for his Haiti relief organization J/P HRO.

Penn and Theron had dated for a year and a half before getting engaged. They split right after they attended the Cannes Film Festival.

Kelly has been romantically linked in the past with "Captain America" star Chris Evans, with whom she had an on-again, off-again relationship. She also dated former Yankee shortstop Derek Jeter.

Lilly's expecting

Actress Evangeline Lilly shocked fans at Monday's Los Angeles premiere of "Ant-Man" by hitting the red carpet with a massive baby bump. This was the first time she's been photographed on a red carpet since December, when she attended the premiere for "The Hobbit: The Battle Of The Five Armies." Lilly told E! Online she's due in September.

This will be the second child for Lilly and her partner, Norman Kali, who have a 4-year-old son named Kahekili.
