In a rebuff to parents everywhere who tell their kids to study, work hard and not to party too much, the hard-drinking, hell-raising cast members of MTV's "Jersey Shore" have now all become millionaires.

Following contract negotiations for the upcoming fourth season -- which reportedly helped delay the cast's long-planned trip to shoot in Italy -- an unspecified "core group" of the eight housemates signed contracts for at least $100,000 per episode, Entertainment Weekly reported during the weekend. With a typical 13-episode season, that comes out to a lot of cannoli. MTV had no comment.

The pay raise is a substantial leap from the first season, when cast members were paid $5,000 per episode, according to AOL's PopEater.com. That went up to $10,000 for season two and $30,000 for season three, the site said.

The hit show's cast -- which includes now familiar faces Paul "DJ Pauly D" DelVecchio, Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino, Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi and Franklin Square's Jenni "JWoww" Farley -- also earn income from promotional appearances and endorsements.
