Report: Lindsay Lohan caught climbing center's fence
Lindsay Lohan, currently undergoing rehab at California's famous Betty Ford Center, apparently has a Coke problem - as in Coca-Cola.
Lohan, 24, and a fellow patient were caught trying to climb over the fence at the Rancho Mirage facility in order to reach the nearby Eisenhower Medical Center and buy a soda from a vending machine, RadarOnline.com reports. The Betty Ford Center, which prohibits patients from having caffeine, has no soda dispenser, the site said.
The "escape attempt" appeared to be sitcom-comical. The fellow patient's clothing reportedly got caught on the fence, forcing the two "to give it up and flag down a volunteer, who was crossing the center's grounds on a golf cart," a source said to have knowledge of the situation told Radar.
"The pair was safely returned, decaffeinated, to their hall, where they were the center of a process meeting over what they had done," the source added.
Lohan has been to rehab five times and has been jailed three times for substance abuse and related issues. She is currently free on bail pending her next probation-violation hearing on Oct. 22 in Beverly Hills.
