Rob Kardashian pleads not guilty to battery, theft involving photographer

Rob Kardashian, 26, pleaded not guilty Wednesday to misdemeanor battery and petty theft following an altercation with a photographer last month.
The Los Angeles Times reported that L.A. County Superior Court Judge Marsha Revel released him on his own recognizance until trial. Prosecutors had asked for $21,000 bail. Kardashian is accused of grabbing a camera from paparazzo Kassandra Perez, removing its media card and, during a struggle, striking her in the face.
Kardashian appeared in court with his attorney, Robert Shapiro, who, with his father, Robert Kardashian, represented O.J. Simpson in his 1995 murder trial.
