Robin Thicke, girlfriend April Love Geary welcome daughter

“Blurred Lines” singer Robin Thicke and his girlfriend, model April Love Geary, have welcomed their first child.

“On 2/22 at 13:33 Mia Love Thicke was born. Thank you God and April Love,” Thicke, 40, wrote on Instagram on Saturday, alongside a short video of himself in a hospital room, rocking a newborn who cries momentarily before he begins softly singing to it.

Roughly six hours later, Geary, 23, posted a short video of Julian Thicke, 7, the son of Robin Thicke and his actress ex-wife Paula Patton, reading from a children’s book, with on-screen text reading, “Night time stories for his lil sis.”

Geary had announced the pregnancy on Aug. 17 with an Instagram post of an ultrasound image, writing, “Robin and I are very excited to share with you all that we’re having a baby! The due date is March 1st, Alan’s birthday!,” referring to Thicke’s father, the actor, producer and talk-show host Alan Thicke, who died in December 2016 at age 69.

Earlier this month, Robin Thicke had told People magazine that, “Julian came up with the name . . . [Mia] and I suggested the middle name Love after her mommy.”

Eight days before giving birth, Geary had posted a photo of herself in orange lingerie, holding three purple roses. “I love Valentine’s Day,” she wrote. “Every body is beautiful, tall short thick skinny pregnant or not, love yourself. Feeling confident is so important. I haven’t felt super sexy this pregnancy but thank you [photographer Evie Lynn] & [makeup artist Alondra Excene] for making me feel sexy with my 8 month preggo bump.”

This is Geary’s first child and Thicke’s second. He formerly was married to Patton, star of last year’s ABC series “Somewhere Between” and of films including “Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol” (2011). The couple had met in their teens, married in June 2005 and announced their separation in February 2014. Their divorce was finalized the following year.
