Just six months after "Teen Mom 2" star Leah Messer married Corey Simms, it seems the marriage is over.

The public records page of West Virginia's Charleston Gazette-Mail on Saturday broke the news: Under the heading "The following people filed for divorce in Kanawha County between April 8 and 15" was "Leah Messer Simms from Corey Simms."

Messer, who married Simms on Oct. 17 after the two became parents to twin daughters Aleeah and Aliannah, now 16 months old, filed for divorce Friday, RadarOnline.com reported Sunday.

The magazine In Touch had reported that Messer, 18, who had earlier starred on MTV's "16 and Pregnant," left Simms, 20, last week after he allegedly transferred $19,000 from their joint bank account to buy himself a new truck. The magazine said Messer is seeking full custody of the twins.

On Saturday, in tears and holding her divorce filing, she was photographed in a park in her hometown of Elkview, W. Va., as MTV shot her for the next season of "Teen Mom 2." The network had no comment.

Messer tweeted on March 9, "Just for the record, Corey and I are NOT divorcing!(:"

Kailyn Lowry, another "Teen Mom 2" star, tweeted in reply to a follower, "They are not getting divorced!" on Wednesday, days before the public filing was announced.

Neither has tweeted about the situation since, though Messer on Saturday did warn of a fake Simms account: "CoreySimms is fakee! Corey doesnt have a twitter account."
