Former reality-TV star Tila Tequila was resting at home Tuesday after being released from a California hospital following what RadarOnline.com described as a brain aneurysm.

"Tila continues to recover and is doing better," her manager said in a statement. "We ask that her privacy is respected during this difficult time."

E! News said Tuesday that the star of the 2007-08 MTV show "A Shot at Love with Tila Tequila" was hospitalized early last Wednesday. Her roommate called 911 when he found her slipping in and out of consciousness and said she had overdosed on two bottles of pills. According to Radar, Tequila took the pills to ease the pain caused by the aneurysm.

Law-enforcement officials told TMZ.com that emergency responders arrived at the home at 1:30 a.m. and transported Tequila, 30, born Tila Nguyen, by ambulance to the Providence Saint Joseph Medical Center in Burbank, Calif. The Los Angeles Fire Department confirmed to E! that a rescue ambulance was dispatched to her address and transported an unnamed patient to a hospital.

E! said Tequila's roommate told police he believed she was suicidal.

Since her MTV show ended, Tequila has pursued several now-defunct online ventures, including TilaFashion.com; TilaZone.com, which offered clip art and widgets; and the dating site TilasHotSpotDating.com. Her book "Hooking Up with Tila Tequila: A Guide to Love, Fame, Happiness, Success, and Being the Life of the Party," was published in 2008.

Tequila was engaged to Casey Johnson, the troubled heiress to the Johnson & Johnson fortune, who was found dead in her West Hollywood home in January 2010.
