'Today' show's Willard Scott, 80, marries longtime girlfriend

Willard Scott of NBC's "Today" has married for a second time, at age 80.
The morning show's venerable former weatherman, who retired from that role in 1996 but continues his longtime tradition of on-air birthday greetings, wed his partner of more than a decade, Paris Keena, in Fort Myers, Fla., on Tuesday. He had been married to Mary Dwyer from 1959 until her death in 2002.
"By the way, we also gave some great news this morning, another surprise wedding in our family," "Today" co-anchor Matt Lauer said Wednesday on the show, announcing that Scott and Keena had "tied the knot" the day before.
"Willard and Paris have been together for about 11 years," Lauer added. "Congratulations to the both of you. We love you both."
Co-anchor Savannah Guthrie had married Democratic political and communications strategist Mike Feldman on March 15.
Regarding honeymoon plans, Keena told "Today," "Our whole life has been a honeymoon."
