Tony Danza coming to Broadway

Tony Danza headed for BroadwayTony Danza's coming to Broadway, reports Newsday contributor Frank Lovece. The producers of the musical "Honeymoon in Vegas" announced Wednesday that the former "Taxi" and "Who's the Boss?" star -- who was born in Brooklyn and raised there and in Malverne -- will continue in the role of gambler Tommy Korman when the production transfers to the Brooks Atkinson Theatre after a well-received run at the Millburn, N.J., Paper Mill Playhouse. The adaptation of the 1992 film starring Nicolas Cage, Sarah Jessica Parker and James Caan, as Korman, begins previews Nov. 18, with opening night scheduled for Jan. 15.
