Deschanel family welcomes baby, new show
Wednesday was a busy day for the Deschanel family.
"Bones" star Emily Deschanel and husband David Hornsby, of "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia," celebrated the birth of their first baby, according to People magazine. The couple welcomed a boy, Henry Hornsby, into their family, a representative for Deschanel confirmed to People.
Deschanel announced she was pregnant in April, and the 34-year-old actress kept a strict vegan diet during her pregnancy. Deschanel and Hornsby were married last year.
Emily Deschanel's "Bones" co-star, T.J. Thyne, turned to Twitter to congratulate the 34-year-old actress.
He posted: "CONGRATULATIONS EMILY D!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Yay yay yay!!! :0)"
The Deschanels also added a new TV series to the family name Wednesday as younger sister Zooey's show, "The New Girl," had its series premiere on Fox at 9 p.m.
