72°Good evening

The greatest hypeman in hip-hop and LI native, Flavor Flav, closed his fried chicken restaurant in Clinton, Iowa, on Monday.

After four months of being in business, the gold teeth, clock-wearing rap pioneer had to pull the plug. The closing of the restaurant was due to Flav “fighting the power” with his business partner, Nick Cimino.

According to TMZ, Flav, whose real name is William Drayton, had his attorney pull the license Monday. He said, "I had a licensing agreement with Nick Cimino and that's all we had. It was his business to run from there and the business was not run right."

At the start of the business there were complaints from employees about their paychecks bouncing. From the looks of things, this venture was doomed from the beginning.

But this block in the road is not going to stop Flav. On May 30, he is scheduled to open Flavor Flav’s House of Flavor in Las Vegas. This business venture will consist of a bar, recording studio, a Flavor Flav memorabilia shop, and a new fried chicken restaurant.

Maybe this new business will work out better for Flavor Flav.  What’s the worst that could happen? (Gulp)
