Kim Kardashian baby name is North West

It sounded too korny to be true, even for Kim Kardashian.

But one of the many rumored names for her new baby girl with boyfriend Kanye West was right on the money. Yes, the baby's name has been confirmed as North West, and a source quoted by E! News says mom and dad already plan to call her Nori for short.

TMZ broke the name news Thursday evening, pointing to the baby's birth certificate from Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, where the couple's first child was born early on the morning of June 15. A photo of the document hit the web Friday. 

The certificate doesn't mention a middle name, according to the Associated Press. It also doesn't list her hair or eye color or weight.

Multiple reports earlier this week suggested the newborn's name was Kaidence Georgia Donda West, keeping the long-running tradition of "K" names on new mom Kim's side of the family, as well as honoring West's mother, Donda, who died in 2007.
