Kim Kardashian and Kanye West are parents.
The first child of the reality-TV star and the rapper arrived weeks earlier than the due date, as the couple welcomed a baby girl Saturday at Cedars-Sinai hospital in West Hollywood, Calif., E! News said.
TMZ.com additionally reported that Kardashian, 32, developed contractions Friday night and went into full labor early Saturday morning.
The site said West, 36, was present throughout the birth and in the delivery room, having canceled an appearance at a release party for his new album, "Yeezus," dropping Tuesday, in order to be by Kardashian's side.
The baby had been expected on or around July 11.
Longtime friends Kardashian and West began dating in April 2012. West revealed the pregnancy during his Dec. 30 concert at the Revel Resort's Ovation Hall in Atlantic City, where, with Kardashian in the audience, he sang, "Now you having my baby." E!, in a statement the next day, said Kardashian was "about 12 weeks pregnant."
The couple announced on the June 2 episode of E!'s "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" that they were expecting a girl.
Neither has spoken of an engagement.
Kardashian's divorce from her second husband, Brooklyn Nets player Kris Humphries, was finalized on
June 4. Kardashian had announced on Oct. 31, 2011, that she was divorcing Humphries after just 72 days of marriage.
The new baby girl will be the third grandchild of Kardashian's mother Kris Jenner. Sister Kourtney Kardashian has a 3-year-old son, Mason, and an 11-month-old daughter, Penelope, with her boyfriend Scott Disick.
Kim Kardashian suffered a health scare in March and was ordered by her doctor to rest, citing her work schedule and the strain of her ongoing divorce proceedings.
