Location of Kardashians' DASH boutique in Hamptons revealed

The Kardashians have (finally) landed, and Jobs Lane in Southampton may never be the same.

After several failed attempts at securing space in Southampton Village, the lease for the Kardashian clothing boutique, DASH, a summer pop-up at 64 Jobs Lane, "was signed Saturday," confirmed Irma Herzog, who owns the property.

It will serve as a site on the E! Kardashian reality show "Kourtney & Khloé Take the Hamptons," being filmed there this summer and airing in the fall.

The 600-square-foot former gallery space is set behind the iconic Southampton watering hole and restaurant The Driver's Seat -- a true Southampton classic that has been there for 50 years and is also owned by Herzog.

Of the Kardashians, Herzog says: "I want to welcome them like I welcome all of my tenants. My tenants are special to me, and I'm excited."

Some however, are wary, fearing that the Kardashians may do to Southampton what Snooki and Co. did to the Jersey Shore.

"The fear is exactly [that]," says Stephen Funsch, Southampton Village administrator. "We've heard from the residents. They don't want crowds of paparazzi and fans following them everywhere."

But, says Funsch, the Bravo show "The Real Housewives of New York City" was good training for reality show wrangling. "We experienced some growing pains with it, but now there are rules and the rules will not be bent."

At the Missoni Home shop, which is about 50 feet from the Kardashian haunt, owner Roxane Mosleh is philosophical about the situation.

"Personally, I would rather see an occupied storefront than a vacant one," she says, though she admits to hearing lots of negative chatter from store owners and community members. "I think there are bigger problems in the world than the Kardashians opening a pop-up shop. We welcome it."
