FOOD
The festival features two food courts serving traditional street fair goodies (think zeppoles and sausage heroes) but also French and Latin dishes. What's more, the festival has its own craft beer and wine tent with large-screen TVs. There's a coffeehouse-style cafe with java concoctions and live acoustic music situated next to another new element: a farmer's market.
ENTERTAINMENT
There's a midway with carnival rides and games, plus a meatball-eating contest 3 p.m. Sunday -- sign up in advance online. Kids will find a petting zoo, pony rides and face-painting. Four stages around the park offer ongoing live music during festival hours.
PARKING
Ten municipal lots and metered spaces around the village offer parking during the festival. But consider parking for free at the Huntington Long Island Rail Road station and hopping the shuttle bus that runs 11 a.m.-6 p.m. ($1 round-trip).
