Even beyond Saturday headliners Taking Back Sunday and the reunion of The Movielife, the Long Island scene is fielding a healthy Bamboozle contingent. Here's a look:

DAS RACIST: The Brooklyn duo with Long Island ties has built a following with its inventive hip-hop mixtapes and clever raps such as "Combination Pizza Hut and Taco Bell" and smart sample manipulations like "You Oughta Know." (Plays Saturday)

HOODIE ALLEN: The Old Bethpage rapper will unveil some songs from the follow-up to his breakthrough mixtape "Pep Rally," with its upbeat, pop-leaning, indie-sampling hip-hop. Allen says the new work, which includes "New York Is Killing Me," produced by Jamie XX, is a bit more serious. (Plays Saturday)

MIKE DEL RIO: The singer-songwriter from Franklin Square is supporting his new "Mad World" EP, filled with pop-tinged rock anthems, like "Feel Good," which has already found a home on VH1 as the theme for "Jump Start Live." (Plays Sunday)

I AM THE AVALANCHE: The Movielife singer Vinnie Caruana's current Merrick-based band will take a break from recording its new album, due out later this year, for his second Bamboozle appearance of the weekend. (Plays Sunday)
