Mariah Carey's pregnancy announced on 'Today' show
This morning on NBC's 'Today' show, Mariah Carey confirmed what everyone has already been talking about -- yes, she's expecting.
In a clip from a pretaped interview with "Access Hollywood," Carey, 41, makes her big announcement. "Yes, we are pregnant. This is true," she said to Billy Bush. While she wouldn't give a specific due date, she did say that her and husband Nick Cannon, 30, are due sometime this spring.
The couple said that Carey had a miscarriage shortly after their 2008 wedding. "The greatest gift on earth is a child," Cannon said.
The "Today" show clip, which you can view below, was a sneak preview to an upcoming three-part "Access Hollywood" interview, the first part of which airs tonight before the release of her upcoming album, "Merry Christmas 2U," out next week.
The couple said that they conceived naturally. They will not find out the baby's sex.
Congrats to them both! Who's next? ... Beyonce, anyone?
