MC Hammer 'proves' Jay-Z worships the devil in video
MC Hammer posted on his Twitter page last week that Jay-Z was part of the Illuminati and worshipped the devil. I seriously can't believe that this nonsense is still going on, let alone that the latest accuser is Hammer. He later stated that he would prove this on Halloween day by releasing a video.
The video, titled "Better Run Run," is more of a dis record than proof of anything. If I was Jay-Z, I would shrug my shoulders and keep it moving. The self-proclaimed "King Hammer" (since when did he become a king?) raps on about how Jay-Z has sold his soul to the devil and that it is evident in his music. One of the more memorable lines is, "I can see in his eyes the boy sold his soul." Really, Hammer, is that what you see?
For a video that is supposed to address a "serious" matter, the dancing is hilarious. At the end of the video, Hammer baptizes the fake Jay-Z and rescues him from the devil.
This video definitely gets the screw face from me because I don't know if this is a publicity stunt or some sort of horrible attempt at "spiritual" outreach to Jay-Z. In any case, Jay has repeatedly shut down rumors about being a member of the Illuminati in news conferences and through his songs.
I say if you believe that he worships the devil, then don't listen to or support his music. The only way to get through to any music artists is by deflating their pockets, not making a video like this.
Check out the ridiculous video below and let us know what you think.
