Here's a personal testimony from Rachel Ostreich, of Plainview. She enrolled her boyfriend, Jordan Alexander, of Bellmore, in the show.

Do tell us about Jordan, please:

"Basically Jordan is a 23-year-old Long Island [guy]. His typical day revolves around him waking up and going straight to the Gym. After the gym he goes to Beach Bum and tans (if he could, he'd live at the tanning salon). He'll go out any weeknight and somehow spend money he doesn't have, on the weekends he does the same routine and then starts partying as early as possible, however on Thursdays he has to make sure his eyebrows are perfect for the weekend and he'll go and get them threaded and a local salon by his house. He hits up all the typical spots, but a favorite of his is GLO. He is an unemployed personal trainer who tries to make a buck as easy as possible. Jordan's Jewish [but] it was semi controversial [on the show] because he wears these loud obnoxious crosses that automatically call attention to himself. Not only this, but Jordan parades around in pink leopard thongs and manties (aka man panties). While some people look up to their parents or political icons for inspiration and guidance, Jordan looks to the Backstreet Boys. Everything he does is to personify the image of a Boy Band member - hence is tool name "Boy Band Tool" "

OK, that's interesting and we can see why you sent him to the show. Now, how about you?

"Myself (Rachel) on the other hand, I have my head on straight and I am a good Jewish girl from Plainview. I am 22, a recent graduate at the University of Buffalo, going back to school this coming Summer to become a physical therapist and getting my doctorate in that area. I am working very hard at an upscale Contemporary Japanese Restaurant Nisen Sushi in Woodbury as a hostess. I basically am at my wits end and I sent Jordan to tool academy because I love him and I need him to realize if he doesn't change his ways and doesn't put me as a first priority I will be done. I love him but if he doesn't change I will leave."

Dunno, but it sounds like this is a tough one, even for "Tool Academy." What do you hope to get out of this experience?

"What I wanted out of Tool Academy was to get my boyfriend back that I had met last year, the first episode does makes everything look pretty silly but when that "Tool Academy" logo pops up everything becomes real. When Jordan saw he was not going to be the Party Ambassador to Cancun he was obviously upset as well as really needing a pair of pants, but then he realized that his relationship is in jeopardy. He said "Just because I do stupid things doesn't mean I don't love her, after seeing the tool academy sign and realizing what was going on I needed to prove to her that she is my number one priority above all else and I love her and don't want to lose her."
