Though he’s not the most famous Project Runway alum, season four’s Chris March had a most stellar fashion moment on the Oscar red carpet. He dressed her movie highness, Meryl Streep, and he did it pretty darn well.
You might remember that the designer shared the finalist limelight with Selden’s own Jillian Lewis among others. His loveable personality and hearty laugh was a highlight of the entire season, though his final collection – lots of hair – was dubbed by the season’s winner, Christian Siriano, “tranny velvet nation.”
Streep’s white gown was anything but. It featured a draped, plunging neckline, and a petal-like front flap. She looked good, fresh and crisp, and received positive reviews from red carpet fashion pundits…including us. Congrats Chris.
