Andrew Barth Feldman, the Woodmere teen who conquered Broadway in 2019 when he played the title role in "Dear Evan Hansen," is hoping to have similar success on the big screen.
Feldman, now 20, will co-star with Oscar winner Jennifer Lawrence in the movie "No Hard Feelings" Deadline reports. Little is know about the film, which Sony Pictures is describing as "an R-rated comedy with a heart." The movie is slated to come out in June.
The actor has been getting quite a bit of screen time lately. He recently wrapped production on the Netflix movie "A Tourist’s Guide to Love" and he has had a recurring role as Antoine, a French foreign exchange student on the popular Disney+ hit series "High School Musical: The Musical: The Series,"
Evan Hansen was Feldman's breakout role, which he played on Broadway from January 2019 through January 2020. At 16, he was the first teen and the youngest actor to tackle the part on Broadway.
Feldman has been involved in several projects since his Broadway run, including playing Linguini in the virtual production of "Ratatouille: The TikTok Musical," which was done as a benefit for The Actors Fund in January 2021. He also appeared as himself in "As the Curtain Rises," a Broadway-themed soap opera on the Broadway Podcast Network.
In addition, Feldman runs his own theatrical company Zneefrock Productions to raise money for autism awareness.
