"Self-Made: Inspired by the Life of Madam C.J. Walker"

This four-part limited series stars Octavia Spencer as Madam C.J. Walker, who at the turn of the 20th century fought racism and sexism while turning a homespun business into an empire. When Walker died in 1919, she was said to be the wealthiest black woman in America. While Oscar winner Spencer (who specializes in playing unstoppable forces; see "The Help," "Hidden Figures," "The Shape of Water") is the main draw, the star-studded cast also includes Tiffany Haddish (pictured left), with Spencer, LeBron James and filmmaker Kasi Lemmons, of last year's "Harriet," as executive producers.

"Lost Girls"

Renowned documentarian Liz Garbus ("What Happened, Miss Simone?") makes her narrative feature filmmaking debut with this dramatization of the unsolved Gilgo Beach murders. Oscar-nominated actress Amy Ryan ("Gone Baby Gone," "The Office," "Birdman") stars as Gilgo victim Shannan Gilbert's mother, Mari, who spearheaded a public pressure campaign after her daughter went missing in May 2010 and became a face of the push for justice in the case. "Lost Girls" filmed in several East End locales in fall 2018, including Kenney's Beach in Southold (the film's setting for Gilgo Beach and Oak Beach), nearby Leeton Drive and Kenneys Road, and the Mattituck Motel.

“Crip Camp"

This new Netflix documentary executive produced by Barack and Michelle Obama documents the fight for the rights of the disabled, a struggle beginning in the 1960s and spearheaded by many former campers of Camp Jened, a Catskills camp for youth with disabilities. (Pictured here are Denise Sherer Jacobson and her husband, Neil Jacobson, who first met as teens at Jened.) Start watching March 25.

"Last Ferry"

"Last Ferry," an indie thriller about a gay lawyer (Ramon O. Torres, who also wrote the screenplay) who witnesses a murder during a Fire Island getaway, filmed almost entirely on location in Fire Island Pines during March and April 2019. "Blue Bloods" regular Robert Clohessy's son Myles Clohessy (pictured left) plays the killer.

"Nikki Glaser: Bangin’"

In her first hourlong Netflix special, Nikki Glaser doesn't hold back on talking about sex.

"Living Undocumented"

This new Netflix docuseries follows eight undocumented immigrant families who share their story of living undocumented in America at great personal risk. Selena Gomez serves as an executive producer on the series.

"Rotten" season 2

Netflix's docuseries "Rotten," which reveals some of the hidden, unsavory truths about the food industry is back for season 2. This time exposing secrets behind the manufacturing of sugar and chocolate, avocados, bottled water, wine and marijuana edibles.

"Raising Dion"

Raising a young son alone is one thing but raising a young son with supernatural powers is another, so when a widowed mother learns that her son has special abilities she must fight to protect him from those who want to exploit him for it. Michael B. Jordan ("Black Panther") executive produced the series.

"Big Mouth" season 3

Seventh grade is winding down but puberty isn't. See what it's like facing puberty in the modern world in season three of Big Mouth.

"In the Tall Grass"

Based on the novella by Stephen King and Joe Hill, this new film follows a group that ventures off into a field of grass after hearing the cries of a young boy — but their rescue mission quickly becomes dangerous when they find themselves disoriented, separated and trapped by a sinister force. And they soon learn that getting lost isn't their biggest problem, being found is.

"Deon Cole: Cole Hearted"

In his first hour-long  Netflix comedy special, comedian-actor Deon Cole ("Black-ish" and "Grown-ish") jokes about everything from the black experience to talking with strangers.

"Rhythm + Flow"

Hosted by Tip "T.I.," Cardi B and Chance the Rapper comes "Rhythm + Flow," a music competition where these three rap stars will set out to find the next generation of rap superstars. Top hip hop names like Snoop Dogg, Quavo, DJ Khaled, Anderson.Paak and the late Nipsey Hussle will make appearances along the way.

"El Camino: A Breaking Bad Movie"

From the creator of the "Breaking Bad" series (Vince Gilligan) comes the very anticipated "El Camino: A Breaking Bad Movie." The movie picks up with crystal meth cooker and dealer Jesse Pinkman (Aaron Paul) who's escaped captivity and is trying is to leave his past behind, which isn't so easy when the cops are on his tail.

"Haunted" season 2

Using dramatic reenactments, "Haunted" shows real people telling unsettling stories from their past that include encounters with ghost, demons and more terrifying things.

"Insatiable" season 2

Once bullied and overlooked by her classmates for being overweight, Patty (Debby Ryan) slims down and is ready to change the narrative  — but she isn't ready to become besties with the people who made her life a living hell; instead, she wants revenge.

"Fractured"

During a tense holiday weekend with his in-laws, Ray Monroe (Sam Worthington), is rushed to an emergency room by his wife Joanne (Lily Rabe) and daughter Peri (Lucy Capri). But after a few hospital tests Monroe learns that his wife and daughter are missing and that all records of the family's visit has been erased. Now concerned and desperate Monroe must race to see what happened to his family.

"The Laundromat"

Three-time Oscar winner Meryl Streep stars in this new Netflix film as a widow investigating insurance fraud, which leads her to a pair of Panama City lawyers (Gary Oldman and Antonio Banderas) who are exploiting the world's financial system.

"Living with Yourself"

Life for Miles (Paul Rudd) is tough, so when he sees a spa that promises a treatment that will make him a better person it's a no brainer to have it done. But when the treatment literally clones Miles -- indeed creating a better and improved version of him -- he must now contend with a double identity. But can these two versions of Miles coexist?

"Tell Me Who I Am"

This documentary follows the life of twin brothers Marcus and Alex; and Alex having lost his memory at 18 relies on Marcus to teach him who he was -- but decades later the twins must face a traumatic family secret that Marcus hid while helping his brother rebuild his life.

"Jenny Slate: Stage Fright"

In her first Netflix special, comedian-actress Jenny Slate ("Zootopia," "The Secret Life of Pets") gives viewers a comedic inside look at her life, bringing up everything from her haunted childhood home to overcoming stage fright.

"Daybreak"

If the world of Mad Max Fury clashed with a post-apocalyptic zombie world, Netflix's "Daybreak" would maybe be the result. This new drama series follows a group of teen outcasts as they navigate their post apocalyptic town to help one of the teens find his missing girlfriend.

"Dolemite Is My Name"

Starring comedic veteran Eddie Murphy, this new Netflix film tells the story of the late Rudy Ray Moore, a multitalented pioneer who proved the naysayers wrong when he created his 1975 film "Dolemite," a 1970s Blaxploitation phenomenon. The film features an all-star comedic cast including Craig Robinson, Keegan-Michael Key, Tituss Burgess, Mike Epps, Wesley Snipes and more.

"My Next Guest with David Letterman and Shah Rukh Khan"

The next featured guest on David Letterman's Netflix talk show is Shah Rukh Khan, a famous Indian actor also dubbed The King of Bollywood, who has starred in a string of Bollywood's biggest hits.

"Prank Encounters"

Hosted by "Stranger Things" Gaten Matarazzo, this new Netflix prank show takes two complete strangers on a terrifying supernatural surprise ride — tossing them straight into a real life horror movie.

"The Kominsky Method" season 2

"Hip-Hop Evolution" season 3

After his first Netflix comedy special in 2015, comedian-actor Mike Epps returns with his appropriately inappropriate comedic style. In his latest special he'll talk about overcoming childhood dyslexia, the mysterious infinite wisdom of old people and raising four daughters.

"Knock Down The House"

This film from Rachel Lears looks at four groundbreaking and recent congressional campaigns -- those of Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Amy Vilela (Nevada's 4th District), Cori Bush (Missouri's 1st District), and Paula Jean Swearengin (who ran against Joe Manchin in the 2018 primary in West Virginia, but was defeated).

"All In My Family"

Chinese-American filmmaker Hao Wu documents his journey of introducing his same-sex partner and their children to his deeply traditional parents and relatives in China in this new Netflix documentary.

"The Last Summer"

This new coming of age film, follows several high school friends as they grapple with the realities of their dreams, relationships and identities during their last summer together before college.

"Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil and Vile"

This new Netflix film tells the story of real-life serial killer Ted Bundy (played by Zac Efron) but from the perspective of his longtime girlfriend Liz (played by Lily Collins) -- who refused to believe the truth about his crimes for years.

"Tuca & Bertie"

Toucan Tuca (voiced by Tiffany Haddish) and song thrush Bertie (voiced by Ali Wong) -- star in this new Netflix adult animated series as the two bird best friends you didn't know you needed. One carefree, the other anxious, the series follows them as they experience the craziness of life together.

"Flinch"

This new Netflix comedy game show follows contestants as they navigate frightening and uncomfortable events. But the real test is trying not to flinch -- or else suffer painful consequences.

"Dead to Me"

Linda Cardellini, left, and Christina Applegate star in this new Netflix film as new friends -- one a hothead, the other an eccentric optimist -- who bond over the death of their partners. But events take a turn, when it's discovered that there's more to the optimist's life than she lets on.

"Lucifer" season 4

Fox drama "Lucifer," which was canceled by Fox and then revived by Netflix, is returning for season four on May 8. The series follows heaven's fallen angel Lucifer, who gets bored in hell and decides to resort to Angeles.

"Wine Country"

Directed by Amy Poehler, who stars in it alongside Emily Spivey and "SNL" alums Maya Rudolph, Rachel Dratch, Ana Gasteyer and Paula Pell, this film follows a group of longtime friends who reunite for one of the lady's 50th birthday at Napa Valley. But with an abundance of wine and a thrown out itinerary, anything could go wrong -- or maybe right.

"Easy" season 3
