Beyonce cancels concert because of exhaustion, dehydration
Representatives for Beyoncé did not respond Tuesday to new rumors, sparked by a canceled concert, that the singer is pregnant with her second child.
Speculation first arose last week after Beyoncé, 31, attended the Met Gala in a high-waisted Givenchy gown some suggested concealed a baby bump.
Then Tuesday the Sportpaleis arena in Antwerp, Belgium, posted what it called an "official press release" that said the singer "has been advised by her doctors to rest as a result of dehydration and exhaustion and will not be able to perform [here] tonight. She is awaiting word from her doctors before making a decision on the second Belgium date scheduled for May 15."
Beyoncé and her husband, rapper-producer Jay-Z, fended off similar rumors in September. The couple announced their first pregnancy in August 2011 at the MTV Video Music Awards, and their daughter Blue Ivy Carter was born Jan. 7, 2012.
