The Long Island superstar residencies will stretch into 2017.

Billy Joel announced Thursday that he will extend his record-setting Madison Square Garden residency into its fourth year, while Jerry Seinfeld has added a dozen 2017 shows to his residency at The Beacon Theatre.

Joel will play The Garden on Jan. 11, marking his 37th show of his residency and his 83rd appearance at the historic venue.

“I thought there would be a natural curve down in demand, but we’re selling tickets even faster now than we were at the beginning,” Joel told Newsday last month. “I’m still looking forward to playing there.”

Tickets for the Jan. 11 show are $65.50 to $129.50 and go on sale at 10 a.m. Nov. 18 through Ticketmaster. Citi cardholders can purchase pre-sale tickets beginning at 10 a.m. Monday through 10 p.m. Nov. 17.

No further shows have been announced. However, in previous years, Joel and The Garden put additional concerts in the residency on sale immediately after tickets for the initial show sold out.

Tickets for Joel’s concert to reopen Nassau Coliseum on April 5 sold out in four minutes last month.

Seinfeld has added 12 shows to his “Jerry Seinfeld: The Homestand” residency at the Beacon Theatre for the first half of 2017. Seinfeld will perform a 7 p.m. and a 9:30 p.m. show on Jan. 5, Feb. 9, March 16, April 13, May 18 and June 8.

“I had a feeling this was going to happen,” Seinfeld said in a statement. “I have enjoyed doing shows at The Beacon so much it has become a bit of an obsession and I can’t stop.”

Tickets for all of Seinfeld’s shows are $85 to $195 and go on sale at 10 a.m. Nov. 16 through Ticketmaster.

“We are so thrilled to welcome Jerry back for the second year of his wildly successful residency at the Beacon Theatre,” Doc O’Connor, Madison Square Garden Co.’s president and chief executive, said in a statement. “His distinctive style of comedy and sense of humor continues to delight and entertain us all . . . Jerry is a true icon of the city and ‘Jerry Seinfeld: The Homestand’ is a uniquely New York event that can only be seen at one of the most historic and special venues in NYC.”
