Guns N’ Roses has finally confirmed the dates on the “Not in This Lifetime Tour,” including a July 23 stop at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey.
Rumors of the tour — which reunites singer Axl Rose, guitarist Slash and bassist Duff McKagan from the “Appetite for Destruction” incarnation of the band — have been swirling for months, generating all sorts of crazy speculation.
Leave it to Guns N’ Roses to wait til April Fools’ Day to clear things up and play its first gig, at the Troubadour in Los Angeles. The band has already lined up a headlining slot at Coachella this month.
The “Not in This Lifetime” stadium tour is set to kick off in Detroit at Ford Field on June 23. Tickets are $45.50-$280 and go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday, April 8. Citi cardholders can begin purchasing presale tickets at 10 a.m. Monday, April 4, through the Citi Private Pass program.
