Hot Song: Foo Fighters' 'Something From Nothing'

The new Foo Fighters song "Something From Nothing" (Roswell/RCA) is amazing both as an epic anthem of soft-loud control and as a single that could shift the sound of rock radio. "Something" is straight-ahead rock that builds as it goes, not getting to its chorus until three minutes into the five-minute song. It has no EDM drop, no dance elements -- unless you count the disco-era keyboard riffs in the middle. Just hard-hitting, in-your-face rock that makes you want to scream along with Dave Grohl. There will never be enough of that.
